Representatives of Enter Espoo visited Tampere on Tuesday 29 September 2026. The aim of the day was to deepen cooperation between the two regions’ business development companies and to find concrete joint initiatives.
In the morning, Business Tampere and Enter Espoo updated each other on current activities at Technopolis Yliopistonrinne. Topics included the defence sector situation, international activities, foreign direct investment, semiconductors and Sitra’s Physical AI project.
In the afternoon, the discussion continued with Tampere University’s Innovation Services at Nokia Arena’s Paidia space. The focus was on research-based spinoffs, research-to-business commercialisation and startups.
Cooperation is already under way after the visit. Business Tampere and Enter Espoo are starting joint planning to attract foreign investment, and the first working session will be held in Espoo in early October
