How can materials technology boost competitiveness and growth? On 25 November 2026, companies, research organisations, piloting environments, funders and development actors will meet at Kampusareena, Hervanta Campus (Korkeakoulunkatu 7, Tampere) to answer that question together.
The event goes beyond discussion. The aim is to identify the key development needs of companies in materials technology and turn them into concrete partnerships and new pilot, project and investment initiatives.
On the programme (11:00–16:00):
- Networking lunch and opening by Pertti Aimonen, Business Tampere
- Keynote on the benefits of ecosystem collaboration by Professor Jari Stenvall, Tampere University
- SIX Elastomeric Systems as the industrial spearhead of the materials programme
- A company success story from Sari Tulander, CEO of Reka Industrial Oyj
- From research to company pilot, and a look at devulcanisation and the next joint Business Finland Co-Creation funding opportunity
- Panel discussion: companies’ key materials technology needs for 2027–2030
- Laboratory tours
